DAY 1 – FIRENZE

Firenze is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in Italy. It gave birth to many men who have strongly influenced the course of human history in every field of knowledge, art, literature and philosophy. Most of the world artistic heritage is supposed to be here, in Florence, where Renaissance grew and anticipated Enlightenment and consequently our time.

Half day guided tour of Firenze (lunch not included): walking to the Palazzo della Signoria, the palace of the republican government of Florence in the Middle Ages, then residence of the Medici family and nowadays the City Hall. Then you will visit the religious centre of Firenze, the Piazza del Duomo, to see the Cathedral and admire the replica of the Porta del Paradiso, the most famous bronze door of the Baptistery. Finally you will visit the Galleria degli Uffizi which houses the most important collection of Renaissance paintings.
In the afternoon, free time to enjoy the city.
Overnight in a hotel 4/5* (as Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa, Bernini Palace or similar).

DAY 2 – FIRENZE

Breakfast in hotel and free time at leisure to explore Firenze till Sunset time.
2 hours guided tour: with this tour you will have a taste of wine of Firenze at Sunset.
A private walking tour that will give you the chance to visit the Oltrarno district, the area of workshops and the place where the true Florentines live. At sunset, the neighbourhood comes alive, the typical restaurants and vinaini are filled with tourists and residents. An expert guide will make you feel the atmosphere of the neighbourhood, while you enjoy a glass of Chianti with some special snacks prepared for you by a famous local wine vendor. The tour continues in the area of the classical Firenze, to visit the political and religious centre and to fill your glasses for the second time!
At the end of tour free time to dinner.
Back to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 3 – ROMA

After breakfast, the next destination is Roma, maybe the most famous italian city in the world. Its richness of monuments and sculptures makes Rome a necessary stage for foreign visitors. Transfer from Firenze to Roma by train (1 hour and 30 minutes). Free time for shopping, other individual activities and lunch.
In the afternoon a stroll guided tour through the streets and alleys of the city centre to visit the most famous squares, fountains and palaces of the baroque art. From PIAZZA DI SPAGNA to the spectacular FONTANA DI TREVI, untill the amazing architecture of the PANTHEON, and the lively atmosphere of PIAZZA NAVONA, with the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini.
At the end of tour, free time for dinner and overnight accomodation in 4/5* hotel (as The Inn at The Spanish Steps, Palazzo Manfredi or similar).

DAY 4 – ROMA

A journey back in time with an half day guided city tour (lunch not included) to admire the grand remains of the ancient Roman civilization: the Colosseo, where the gladiators used to fight; the Fori Romani, the old centre of the city life; the arch of Titus and that of Constantine, the Campidoglio, with the beautiful square designed by Michelangelo, and Piazza Venezia with the impressive monument to king Victor Emmanuel II.
Free time to relax and leisure or to explore the local sights and for dinner.
Return to hotel and overnight.

DAY 5 – ROMA

Breakfast in hotel and full day free in order to enjoy the city…all waiting to be discovered!
Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight accomodation.

DAY 6/12 – SARDEGNA

Transfer from the hotel to Fiumicino airport to take the flight to Sardegna (domestic flight not included).
